About Me

I am a people photographer. I love taking pictures of people.

Especially people in sport.

The reality is though, I love photographing anything.

Born in Cardiff, South Wales, I grew up playing rugby every Saturday, then changed to ice hockey and became a successful Ice Hockey Official.

I spent most of my working life as a Police Officer and during my 23 years service became a fully qualified forensic computer analyst.

Now I work in a local College helping students in Engineering. This means I am fully DRB compliant and as a photographer, fully insured.

In 2016 I was awarded my AWPF by the Welsh Photographic Federation for my 'Rugby in mono' panel. The panel can be seen here.

These days I watch rugby every Saturday, mainly down the barrel of my lens...

My aim is to record tiny fragments of time, sometimes in thousandths of a second, for ever. This can be on a sports event, a wedding, a portrait session; anything I can successfully capture the memory of.

I live near Cardiff but can travel anywhere.

The photograph of me was taken by one of my friends at Pyle and Porthcawl Photographic Society, Mr Richard Craze.
